I bought my current laptop about 10 weeks ago and have been very happy with it. But twice in those 10 weeks, it rebooted spontaneously and I am baffled by why. By spontaneously, I mean that I didn't click on anything to make it reboot and I didn't get a BSOD yet the screen suddenly went black in the middle of writing an email and, after a brief pause, I saw that it was rebooting. It came back up fine with no obvious damage done aside from losing the email I was writing but I'm concerned there may be an underlying problem with it. It's still under warranty and if there is a system issue of some kind, I'd rather fix it free under warranty that have to pay for it later.
Is there any way to determine WHY it crashed? Will there be any logs or such that can pinpoint what happened and why?
