This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable start sharing with Copilot Vision controls when hovering over an opened app window on the taskbar for your account in Windows 11.
Starting with Windows 11 build 26100.7309 (24H2) and build 26200.7309 (25H2), when you hover over an open app icon on the taskbar, a thumbnail preview of the app window appears with a new Share with Copilot button beneath this preview. Selecting it allows Copilot Vision to scan, analyze, and offer insights on the content displayed by the app at that time.
EXAMPLE: Start sharing with Copilot Vision when hover over an app on taskbar and click "Share with Copilot"
Here's How:
1 Open the Copilot app.
2Sign in to Copilot with your Microsoft account if wanted to sync settings.
3 While in full view, click/tap on the Account button on the sidebar, and click/tap on Settings. (see screenshot below)
4 Under Copilot Vision settings, turn on (default) or offStart Vision from app in taskbar for what you want. (see screenshot below)
5 Click/tap on the Back arrow button to exit Copilot settings.
That's it,
Shawn Brink
