This is a really weird bug and I'm not good at explaining, so I hope this makes sense.
I updated Windows 11 the other day (2025-11 Preview Update (KB5070311) (26200.7309)) and now the drag and drop into folders open on the taskbar isn't working properly.
If I have 2 separate folders open, I can drag from folder 2 into folder 1 (from the screenshot example "downloads into pictures"). but I can't drag from folder 1 to folder 2.
If I have 3 or more folders open, I can't drag from folder 1 into any of the other folders. If I try to drag from another folder (from the screenshot 2 example "screenshots into downloads") it will ignore the middle folder(s) and just open folder 1 "pictures" to drag into. And If I try to drag from folder 2 "downloads" to folder 3 "screenshots" and it just opens folder 1 "pictures"
I'm guessing this is a case of the Windows update messing up and me having to roll it back to the previous update? But I thought I'd ask in here to see if this was a known thing or if anyone had any ideas.
