Suggestions needed for home networking

Question

Hello.
I'm pretty sure that I have a good handle on what I'll have to do, but for lack of experience, an expert I'm not.
Any advice is welcome.

Current situation:

I have an old DSL connection (100MB) in the living room, with its router supporting the phone line, feeding the TV through a wired 5-port giga switch box, and also supply wireless connection to any cell phones around it.

I've added a couple of years ago a 1GB fiber line that goes directly to my computer room.

With the prices being ridiculous, I decided to get rid of the DSL line and transfer my phone to the fiber company. The phone works fine as an IP phone when plugged in the fiber's router.

Things to do:

Transfer the fiber's signal over to the living room so I can feed the TV etc.

The fiber's router is a ZTE (GPON ONT, March 2024), model ZXHN F870L

I also have a couple of leftover older routers:
Mercusys MR50G and a ZTE Gateway ZXHN H288A.

Problems:
I can't connect the fiber to the living room using an ethernet wire. Wife problem...
I'd like to keep the whole setup as close to the fiber's speed as possible.
Get the phone out of my computer area.

This (probably, see below the Powerline possibility) takes out of consideration the MR50G which is an access point and needs an ethernet connection to the router.
For the ZTE Gateway, I'm not sure yet. It might have worked but I need to locate its power plug before I try it.

Powerlines dawned on me but I have never tried them.
Could I send the fiber signal through a powerline adaptor, pick it up in the living room and feed it to the wired connection of the MR50G or the ZTE Gateway?
After that, I should be able to feed the TV through the switch.

Only thing I can't figure out: is it possible to connect the phone (that's now transformed to an IP one) back in the living room. The ZTE Gateway has a phone connection but that device was for the older DSL so it's rather doubtful it can be done.

There's Mesh too but it's over my head and I'm already dizzy :)

Thanks in advance for any advice on setup or hardware that would do the job without breaking the Bank.
