I am preparing to give my old PC to a friend. I did a clean install of Win11 Pro with a local account. Everything works great. Then I remembered he uses Wifi. I installed a PCIE wifi expansion card - Intel AX200NGW. I installed it like I have always done. Upon booting I looked in the taskbar and checked available wifi connections. It was there. Then I don't know what happened. The wifi section of this are was gone. There is no reference to anything wifi in settings.
It is totally missing in Device Manager even when displaying hidden devices.
I tried a number of things from Youtube without success. I even disabled secure boot thinking it may be afecting adding new hardware like this. Still no success.
I am realtively new to Win11. I have never had an issue like this with Win10. Can someone offer some pointers?
