Abom1331 0
I've been unsuccessfully trying to install Dell Update (not Command | Update) on my Vostro 5620. The log file terminates at line 2754 with " 11/27/2025 08:36:22.471 OFFICECL (0x12e0) 0x5954 Click-To-Run apvcy Medium ClickToRunData::GetConfigurationSetting - Failed to get value for unknown.devicebasedlicensing. " I don't have any other Dell apps (e.g.,SupportAssist) installed on the device, nor do I want any. I've tried running as Admin, but no dice. Windows and other Dell drivers are up to date. SFC /scannow is clean. It's possible I deleted something I shouldn't have in my zeal to purge the device of copious pre-installed Dell apps sucking up RAM 24x7 and spreading their ugly tentacles throughout the device, so probably my bad! Any ideas on exactly what's missing and how to restore it without resetting the device? 2) My general preference would be to use Command | Update instead, but installs have also failed - Dell doesn't list the Vostro 5620 as being provisioned for it. Thank you.
