Two Desktops in my Microsoft File Explorer - why?

Matthew Pollock

Question

Like most people, I have Microsoft File Explorer sitting in the left column of my Windows 10. The top item is Quick Access, and within that is Desktop and all the items on the Desktop. Below all that stuff there is Dropbox and the main folders in Dropbox. That's what should be there, anyway. Over the last couple of weeks a second Desktop logo has infiltrated itself above the Dropbox logo. I have no idea why the second Desktop logo is there, or what it means, or how to remove it. It makes me nervous. When I look at the actual Dropbox folder, there is no Desktop logo. How can I safely get rid of it?
