I've got a very annoying problem which has only started in the last few weeks, and also, it's not every time.
I always hibernate my Windows 10 PC, and only restart if I need to do updates or whatever. This has never been a problem, but on 5 or 6 occasions over the last few weeks, after hibernating the machine at night and switching off the wall socket, the next day I'll start the PC and Windows won't restore my state - there are no errors shown or anything, it just boots straight into a clean Windows 10 startup.
I know when this has happened as when I start Chrome it tells me it didn't shut down properly, and asks me to restore all my tabs. But it did shut down properly! That's the thing. As I always have done, I wait until the PC powers down (after hibernating) before switching off the socket at the wall.
I can't understand why this has started happening but it's causing a few headaches.
