Keyboard problems

Mike Lynch

Question

Something caused my keyboard to malfunction upon startup the day before yesterday and today. The day before yesterday I searched around for a solution and was directed to turn my computer off and during restart to press esc plus F2. I followed those directions and the keyboard started working. I followed the same procedure this morning (now yesterday morning) because I was experiencing the same issue. The keyboard would not function. Obviously, that worked again. Can anyone tell me what is going on. Should I expect to have to replace my keyboard soon or what should I do. The wireless keyboard is HP and came with the HP computer which is a HP Envy TE01-1xxx. Using Windows version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.6899). I would include more system info if I could retrieve it and get it to my clipboard. That's another question, I haven't been able to display my clipboard. Anyone willing to help an old man through some of this?
