Hi, I would appreciate some guidance. I did a clean install of W11 for my daughter a couple of weeks ago. She uses a MS Account which was signed into during the install process.
We checked her Microsoft Account and discovered that her Dell Laptop wasn't registered under devices. It is showing in Settings/Linked Devices correctly as Linked To Your Microsoft Account. Her laptop is OEM and so doesn't have a licence key.
If I had to do another clean install and entered the Microsoft Account details would Windows still be activated even though the laptop doesn't appear in MS Account but Settings says it's linked? I understand people have had this problem for a while and seems to be a Microsoft issue but doesn't look like being resolved. Thanks Mitch.
