As of booting this morning all system icons in the system tray stopped working. Battery, Network, Sound, Calendar, and would have also been the start menu, except for the fact that I installed OpenShell. In this thread Quick Access Stopped Working
fixed my "Quick access" problem, that is until this morning. Quick access is still working except for the fact, that when I open Explorer, it jumps to the very bottom of the navigation pane. SFC is clean, DISM returns no errors, Component scanner says No corruption and No warnings.
Tried a system restore that failed, however this time it didn't wipe out all other restore points. I tried several and all failed.
If you guys can't give me some insight on how to fix this, I will have to revert to an image from 07/22/2025.
