Can't get USB mouse/keyboard to work under Recovery Environment

I entered the Windows Recovery Environment (Shift-Restart) on my MeLE mini PC, but neither my USB mouse or USB keyboard are functioning once I get there. They work fine in Windows (25H2). Any ideas?
