This may seem a silly question, but I am always backing up my PC (sometimes 2-3 times a day) and often before I install or run a new program with Macrium 10. If I don't like what I installed, I can easily revert back to the earlier state without loads of registry entries added. It keeps things nice and clean.
However, even if I restore an image I made less than 30 mins ago, I often find when I go onto my favourite websites like Google, Facebook, Amazon etc I always have to log-in again. Yet my ip address etc remains the same.
I use Firefox as my main browser. I do use CCleaner mainly to keep cookies on the most common used sites and I let it delete all others I don't need. But after a restore, I almost always find I have to log-in again to most sites.
Why is this? Is there something I should include when I make a Macrium backup? When using my PC normally, turning it off and on even days later I am still logged in. But not after a restore. What am I missing here?
(My System spec is in My Computer details below!).
