Howdy, sorry if this is already covered somewhere. I did search (a little) but nothing came up that answered directly.
When using DISM to apply a.k.a. integrate MSU package to W11 ISO (whether mounted, extracted, or otherwise), does it actually integrate all the files like the old slipstreaming used to do in the XP days, or does it just 'stage' the update to be run after Setup, before or during OOBE phase?
If an update is failing on a 'live' system, via Windows Update or running standalone MSU file, there is reason to think it will also fail when running in a 'staged' approach following 'integration' since it is basically doing the same thing. TIA
