While I have explicitly set Windows color mode to Custom and then all apps to Light mode and only Windows to dark mode, I saw today a weird behavior. While in Windows dark mode the taskbar text is white by default, I noticed that the text was black. I checked in Settings, Personalization, Color and sure enough, it was set to Light mode. I switched it again manually to Custom mode with all Apps in Light mode and Windows in Dark mode, and it seemed OK for a while when it did it again. Windows was again set in Light mode, so I fixed it once more. Since today 28th October is national holiday in Greece (the day we replied NO to the Italian Ambassador asking to move the Italian troops through Greece in 1940 just before we engaged in WWII), I left home to gather with family. I opened my PC again a while ago and loaded File Explorer to see it was in Dark mode! Microsoft Edge was also in Dark Mode. I checked the Settings again, Windows had switched to dark mode! I changed once again to custom with all apps in Light Mode and Windows to Dark mode. File Explorer conformed and switched to Light Mode, but Microsoft Edge was still in Dark Mode until I explicitly changed it to Light Mode from it own settings. Has anyone else experienced this weird behavior before? Probably a temporary glitch that might fix if I restart my PC, but I don't want to restart right now since I have many apps open. I will inform you again when I restart.
