Stuck on upgrading CPU cooler

MOoD90s

Question

When I upgraded my main desktop last December I replaced the 8-year old Corsair H60 water cooler. A lot of people have been saying that a good air is the best option. I bought a Scythe Mugen 6 tower air cooler. It works very well.

The problem is that I have to remove the CPU cooler every time I have to do anything inside the computer. I can't even remove the graphics card without removing the CPU cooler first.

I decided to remove the CPU air cooler and replace it with another CPU water cooler. The Cooler Master case I have can accept either a front 240mm or 280mm water cooler. That is the only option shown in the manual. I picked a Cooler Master 240 Atmos because it is highly rated.

After I got everything apart I realized that I can't figure out how to mount the 240 Atmos. The way the case is designed it seems that radiator needs to mounted on the outside of the front bracket. However, the 240 Atmos is supposed to mounted on the inside of the front bracket. The screws are way too short for this. Also, I review of the 240 Atmos said the best place to mount the radiator was on top of the case. If the 240 Atmos is mounted in the case front then the hose from the radiator needs to be at the bottom. If I did this then the hose is too short to reach the CPU.

My questions are:
  • Should I return the Cooler Master 240 Atmos and reinstall the Scythe Mugen 6
  • Should I return the Cooler Master 240 Atmos and find another water cooler?
  • Should I return the Cooler Master 240 Atmos,, find another water cooler, and a new case?
  • Should I keep the Cooler Master 240 Atmos and find another computer case?
  • Is there another option?
