After removing almost everything "HP" using Uninstall-Package, RemoveAppxPackage, and removing their corresponding drivers with pnputil, I still have 3 HP apps that just won't go. From the Get-Package list:
HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.82.4285.0
HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 4.2.2489.0
HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.80.4268.0
I've read these could be driver packages or that HP uses "SoftwareComponents" to install more of their apps. Any ideas how to get rid of these or should I leave them alone?
This was listed as well - HP Inc. - Firmware - 15.10.0.0, but I think I should leave that one alone.
Also theres still lots of files and even some other apps in the Program Files > HP folder: AddHPConsentManagerLauncherScheduledTask, HPPrivacySettings, WizDemoLink, WizInstaller, HPMediaNetwork - which has language files and some DLLs like Microsoft.Toolkit.Uwp.Notifications.dll.
Not sure if these are safe to delete, especially DLL files and folders. Then theres stuff in the Program Files (x86), hidden "hp", Users folders, etc. I don't think I should be messing with anything in AppData.
I'd rather do things manually as opposed to using a third-party uninstaller.
Well, any help or insights is appreciated!
