W10Pro64 prevents me saving to the Desktop, WHY?

I was formerly able to save to the Desktop.
About six months ago, W10Prp64 started preventing me from doing so.
I would really like to be able to save to the Desktop again.
Can a Forum Member help me figure out why I can't and help fix it?
